This is a Minetweaker/Craftweaker & Modtweaker2 script that allows you to use Thaumcraft 4's crucible to create potions instead of the vanilla minecraft method. It doesn't replace brewing stands so you can still use them to make potions.
A list of the aspect requirements for each potion modifier
Water Bottle: Aqua 4
Awkward: Permutatio 2
Thick: Lux 2
Mudane: Potentia 2
Splash modifier: perditio 2
Potency modifier: lux 2
Extended modifier: Potentia 2
Speed: motus 2
Slowness: Vinculum 2
Strength: Telum 2
Weakness: Telum 2, Perditio 2
Instant Health: Victus 2
Instant Damage: Mortuus 2
Regeneration: Sano 2
Poison: Veneum 2
Fire Resistance: Ignis 2, Tutamen 2
Invisibility: Sensus 2, Pannus 2
Night Vision: Sensus 2, Lux 2
Water Breathing: Aer 2, Aqua 2
If you're using the Thaumic Nexus version of the script than the Aqua entries are changed to Alkimia.
I would like to add more potion recipes but as it sits right now I don't know how to add custom potions. Until then or until I find some other work around I can only add already existing potions.
It's in it's initial release so there's not much thought put into balancing right now. If anyone has suggestions I'll rebalance the aspects to not be over or underpowered recipes.
(EDIT) I have slightly rebalanced the potions to be a little more expensive to craft considering some potions, without editing the aspect ratios can give back more aspects than went into it.
I've added a Thaumic Nexus version of the script. Given my naming convention it'll load after the default version of the script, only I'd recommend using only one version as they both make the exact same changes, apart from switching the Aqua aspect for the Alkimia aspect.
Thaumic Nexus is an addon that backports some content from Thaumcraft 5 and Thaumcraft 6 back down to Thaumcraft 4. I namely use it for this script to use the Alkimia aspect in place of the Aqua aspect for more consistency as Alkimia represents alchemy.
