DESCRIPTION:
This is an addon for TaCZ (Timeless & Classics: Zero) in the form of a gun pack that replaces the default one. It is a rebalance of all the default weapons included in the base mod. All guns have significantly reduced damage (no weapon should be able to kill 19 full netherite players with one magazine) and significantly increased recipe prices, with huge quantities of iron, gold, and occasionally blaze rods and diamonds required.
The aim of this addon is to provide a way for server owners and survival players to enjoy the slick animations and incredible modeling & texturing of TaCZ without making the game instantly way too easy or making PVP too boring.
HOW TO INSTALL:
Installation is very similar to normal gun packs, except for one key difference (highlighted).
1. go into the "tacz" folder in .minecraft (if you are using a launcher, find the "open folder" option instead)
2. delete everything inside the folder (delete "tacz_default_gun" and "tacz-pre.toml")
3. paste/drag in the zip file from curseforge and unzip it
4. you can delete the zip file after you unzip if you want
ADVANCED:
how to only change either the recipes or damage:
only replace certain parts of the default tacz_default_gun; for example, to change only the recipes, i would:
1. unzip the file from curseforge
2. find the folder called "gun" inside the folder "recipes" and copy all of the ".json" files
3. go to the same folder but inside the default gun pack
4. paste the .json files and override the original ones
5. done
and it's the same way for only the damage, except the folder for that is "data" > "guns"
