Spyros Present Hunt Data Pack

You want to hide some Presents in Minecraft for your friends to find?

Use this easy to use, survival friendly datapack! First hide the Presents where ever you want in your Minecraft world. You can also put items into those Presents! They are invisible for other player until you start the Present Hunt!

When you start the hunt, all Presents will be visible and a leader-board appears, that shows how many Presents are left and who has found the most Presents.

How it works:

 
1: Installing the datapack
Upload the datapack to your server and put it into the datapacks folder of the world. Now restart the server or use the command /reload in order to load the datapack.

2: Getting the Present Spawn Egg

Use /trigger spawn_present to get the present spawn egg

3: Placing Presents
Right click with the present spawn egg on the floor to spawn a present. Now you can drop any item you want into the present and the item will be collected by it.

 

4: Deleting a Present
Drop the present spawn egg at the present you want to delete and the present will disappear.

5: Start the Present Hunt

Use /trigger start_present_hunt to start the present hunt. All Present will appear and be ready to collect.

Just right click a present, to collect it!

6: Uninstall the Present Hunt Data Pack

Use /trigger uninstall_present_hunt to remove all entities and scoreboards used in the datapack.

Tip:
You can use the command "/tag @s add spectator" to make your self unable to collect the presents. For example if you have hidden the presents, but don't want to accidentally collect them. Or use "/tag (username) add spectator" to make somebody else unable to collect the presents.
