Thanks for the help EminGT
I seriously love the look, these are pretty much the only shaders that don't get tiring to look at after a while. Don't listen to the people telling you to change them.
In reply to Mummelpuffin:
lol glad to hear. I customized these specifically with that in mind.
Is it not compatible with 1.8.9? Cause its just really bright everywhere.
In reply to mochafrappuccinomc:
Yeah compatibility is limited to 1.12.2 and above because of optifine
In reply to squeakypistonmc:
Wdym because of optifine
In reply to mochafrappuccinomc:
wdym wdym because of optifine. optifine updates and adds features now and then. this shader uses features that are only available in 1.12.2 and later
In reply to squeakypistonmc:
Oh, thats sad.
it wont seem to load with optifine for me what might i have done wrong
In reply to crunchybeansr6:
Do other shaders work? also what mc version.
In reply to squeakypistonmc:
yes i fixed the issue
I love this shader for the overworld. However in the Nether things look a bit too orange for my taste. Is there a way to either disable it for the Nether or change the fog color so it isn't orange?
In reply to pelletstove:
not atm
In reply to pelletstove:
Actually in shaders/world-1/lib/fog you can change the decimal value the fogDensity value extract out of zip to make editing easier
In reply to squeakypistonmc:
Nice thanks for the tip.
First off, I love this shader. It fixes a lot of problems I had with LUMA itself, even though LUMA is a great shader and worked with a plethora of modded particle effects.
I was just wondering if some entities were supposed to have no shading. Anything living and most vanilla items like furnaces, beds, and chests just act like they're in complete shadow, even in full sunlight. What I mean is that they cast shadows, but have no lighting on themselves.
In reply to ruhart:
Try different optifine versions and or update drivers
In reply to squeakypistonmc:
Worth a shot. It's not a huge deal. The benefits of this shader far outweighs any small problems. Weird thing is, when I change shader options, the world will blink and reload like it usually does, but mobs and vanilla chests stick around through it. Dunno if the shader is even touching them for some reason. I'll just deal with it and see if it does the same thing on the next modpack I use.
Also, this shader hands-down has my favorite water of any shaderpack. And I've used all the popular ones. Awesome job, you got a fan for sure.
Great shader! If you think the colors are too close to vanilla MC, change the color profile!
Sky at day looks good, but night sky is all black with stars. Is this intended? Video card: GTX 1080
In reply to MJRAMON:
Turns out this is how it is supposed to be, made by author.
Your shader is one of the best out there, but night time needs a lot of tweaking, especially with skybox and world lighting (which now looks like dimmed day light, it doesn't look right). Maybe you could make something that looks like Chocapic? Then it will be all around good.
Didn't test yet underwater and other biomes.
