About:
Enhanced default does what the name indicates, instead of completly revamping the style of the game it maintains the vanilla look and adds shadows, reflections, TAA and even godrays. It's very lightweight and highly customizable, so even the worst potato is able to run it. It has a fast and fancy profile setting in the ingame shader options aswell as download presets. Fast is quite alot faster than the Fancy preset, so if you need all the frames go for fast instead!

Enhanced Default v1.15:
- Supports MC 1.19.3
- Improved TAA, greatly reduced flickering and reduced ghosting.
Whats the difference between fast and fancy?
In reply to LegendOfCatBro:
Different default settings, named after minecrafts quality settings with are usually fast/fancy/fabulous
Anyone know what causes an OpenGL Error 1282, with the sky and entities moving with the mouse/camera but not the rest. It's like the sky, block bounding box, and mobs are moving with the camera when I look around, but the blocks are stuck. This happened with 1.141 Fancy but not 1.14 Fancy. With 1.14 Fancy the spiders were invisible except for the eyes (I was on Normal, so it wasn't potion effects).
Light Spirit Arrow is invalid, it is fatal in pvp, this light and shadow is really great, it would be even better if it can be fixed
In reply to dearcocogirl393:
Which arrow do you mean exactly? It is bugged with optifine but should be supported with Iris.
Hey!
I seem to have a visual bug with the breaking blocks animation. The cracks occuring on the block are very dark and not see through. It feels like the opacity is at 100% and it makes the animation pitch black. Is this on my end and how could I fix it because I really like this pack!
Thank you!

In reply to krispoissyuh:
I also got this problem and the pitch black animation makes breaking blocks look ugly.
In reply to krispoissyuh:
Same issue here
In reply to krispoissyuh:
Are you using optifine? Iris works better and has less bugs so try that instead.
Awesome shader with great performance! :)
I showcased it in German if someone is interested:
In reply to clickbaiteryt:
Hey cooles video, der "dale" shader is allerdings nur eine geklaute kopie von meinem enhanced default pack, der Thread wurde auch schon reportet an curseforge, wegen copyright verletzung.
does someone knows how to disable the clouds? I have them disable in minecraft vanilla's settings but when I activate the shaders I have clouds
In reply to VineRaft:
It's an Iris thing, but fixed in the new update.
Is there any way to turn off entity shadows without turning off all shadows?
Hey! I love your shader but I have only 1 thing that I have issue with and I don't know if I need to change something or not but whenever I put this shader on, it does something weird with my character. At first I thought it was just the skin, but it's the whole character. Armour and all. I don't know how to explain it but I will do my best. There is this thin, flickering black outline on my character, weird thin lines over the armour etc that when moving, it flickers. Even in 1st person mode, I see this on the exposed hand. -- I would like too add that celshading is off.
Anyway, I love the shader, thank you for making it, but I was wondering if there was a way to remedy this issue.
Any ideas about this split sky on the horizon? I remember with other modpacks that such issues were caused by Astral Sorcery, but I don't have that mod. And a different shaderpack doesn't have that problem.
Modded 1.18.2 (Enigmatica 8, Rubidium 0.5.3a, Rubidium Extras 1.3.2, Oculus 1.2.5a, Oculus Flywheel Compat 0.1.5-ALPHA).
Update is live now!
Changelog:
- Added support for MC 1.19.1! (optifine and iris)
- Added support for waving mangrove saplings and leaves (I don't think roots should be waving right?)
- Fixed and improved visuals with shadows disabled!
- Improved lighting visuals with bump and parallax mapping enabled.
- ED Supports darkness effect by default, since it uses minecrafts fog.
- Iris supports the spetral effect by default, use that instead of optifine.
In reply to SildurFX:
Great work, this is my fav shader by far.
Any chance we could get a toggle for clouds in the shader settings?
In reply to WarlordWossman:
Clouds should now be toggleable by the minecraft settings.
