"Hydro Fury!" is a datapack which adds a brand new ocean-based dungeon to Minecraft. Each room consists of mobs to defeat with the final room including an entirely new boss fight!

Prism of the Ocean Depths

The Prism of the Ocean Depths is a structure which spawns in three specific ocean biomes, deep oceans, deep lukewarm oceans and deep warm oceans (Just like ocean monuments). They spawn at least a thousand blocks away from the world's original spawnpoint or from another prism meaning the player is going to have to search for a while to find one. By default, the entrance to this dungeon is locked requiring you to obtain some sort of key first. This is done by defeating a Drowned Blight.

Drowned Blight

Maximum Health: 60 (30 Hearts)

Attack Strength: 8 (4 Hearts) (From heaving tridents)

Walk Speed: Slightly above average (On land) ||| Very slow (In the water)

Spawns: Every 30 drowned zombies that has spawned in the world.

Drops: Prismarine Footwear (50%), Prismarine Leggings (50%), Prismarine Chestplate (50%), Reinforced Turtle Shell (50%), Trident (8.5%), Prismarine Key (100%)

Drowned Blights are rare miniboss variants of their vanilla counterparts. They are tough and can easily overpower players that aren't well prepared. All blights wield tridents which can pose a threat to players without armor or a shield. They are also equipped with some protective armor which grant them a lot of defence. This includes a helmet which means that they are protected from the sun. Upon death, they have a fifty percent chance to drop each armor piece, a low chance to drop their trident (Same as regular drowned zombies) and of course, the key required to access the dungeon in the first place.

Once a Prismarine Key has been acquired, the player can at long last, access the Prism of the Ocean Depths. Take caution, however for upon entering the dungeon, the player is unable to exit until they've either defeated the boss at the final room or died trying. They will also require water breathing potions as the first three rooms will take place completely in water. Another thing to take note is that they are unable to destroy any blocks whilst in the dungeon. This is to prevent players from cheating. This anti-cheat system comes from the many crystals which exist in each room that grant mining fatigue. They are all destroyed once the boss at the final room has been defeated. Below is an image of one of the crystals.

Each room consists of multiple different enemies including a new one. These eyeball creatures may easily be outdone but they can blend in with the dungeon's environment and can give you a surprise attack.

The Eye of the Prism

The eye, closed and having a slumber. It awaits the arrival of any individual, brave or foolish enough to chaIIenge it.

The eye, opened and awake. Watch out, it's ready to cause some trouble!

Maximum Health: 500 (250 Hearts)

Attack Strength: 8 (Hydraulic Bolt, Wave) ||| 6 (Pierces armor) (Water Jet)

Movement Speed: Slow (Using Water Jet), Teleports (Deciding which column to blast a Waterwall)

Spawns: In Prism of the Ocean Depths

Drops: Hydro Fury (100%)

Take note that by default, the eye is completely invulnerable to any form of damage. The only time it's vulnerable to damage is after using a special attack.

Attacks (And its attack pattern)Once the fight begins, the eye will teleport to a random segment in the room and fire a Wave. The room has three segments. The left, the right and the middle. It will repeatedly do this for eight times. The player will have to avoid staying in the segment the eye picks.

Right after that, it will start to fire Hydraulic BoIts at the player for ten consecutive times.

Now onto the biggest part of the fight, special attacks.

After firing Hydraulic BoIts at the pIayer, it will choose a special attack. There are four different special attacks it could use.

𝟙. It will levitate all players in the room, teleport to the far left, blast a powerful water jet capable of piercing through any sort of armor whilst slowly moving to the right later stopping one block away from totally reaching the corner and will then repeat the entire process but instead do it from right to left. (Indicator particle: Angry villager)

𝟚. It will summon three sentinels to battle you to keep you busy. (Indicator particle: Heart of the Sea)

Prismarine Sentinel

Maximum Health: 30 (15 Hearts)

Attack Strength: 8 (4 Hearts)

Walk Speed: Average

Spawns: From Eye of the Prism during a special attack.

𝟛. It will once again levitate the player. This time, it will fire six Hydraulic Bolts in the room. It will also warn the player doing so. If the row's sign is red, it fires a bolt. If the sign is green however, it remains safe. The pIayer is gonna want to stay in the row with a green sign. (Indicator particle: White sparkles)

𝟜. The player will receive GUIs multiple times requesting them to go "UP" or "DOWN". If the player does not cooperate, they will be blasted in the face with a Wave. (Indicator particle: Teal-ish cyan dust effect)

After using a special attack, it will finally be vulnerable to damage. After eight seconds, it will start the entire process again.

Upon death, it will drop lots of XP and most importantly, Hydro Fury. The endgame weapon of this datapack. This trident will grant a lot of buffs such as speed, knockback resistance, increased max health and all enchantments a trident should have excluding Riptide.

Those who have obtained this powerful weapon can prove themselves superior and cherish this for a very long time. By the end of the day however, it is still breakable and needs to be repaired if necessary.
