DrDestens MCShaders
This site and my GitHub are the only official sources for DrDestens MinecraftShaders
DrDestens MinecraftShaders is a shaderpack for Minecraft: Java Edition. It features water effects with reflections, ambient occlusion, bloom, realistic depth of field, motion blur, TAA and many other things. The shaderpack supports the LabPBR and OldPBR/SeusPBR standard, and you can use it with PBR texturepacks for added detail.
My shaderpack is relatively new, so it gets updates fairly often. Make sure you check once in a while to not miss performance improvements or new features!

FAQ
Will you add shadows?
No, I won't. Shadows are performance intensive and will decrease the performace of my shader significantly.
Parts of the shader are glitchy / there are errors in chat
My shader does not support Iris.
My shader does not support Intel Macs at all.
M1 Macs will break some features, and that is something I can't fix. You can try disabling the features that cause problems.
If none of these things apply to you: please create an issue describing your problem or join the shaderLABS discord server ("Contact Me" section) and describe your problem there.
These things apply to you, but you still want to use my shader? I am unable to properly debug these issues, so I won't be able to fix them (intentionally). If you are fine going without the features that break, disable them. If you can't disable them, contact me and I can probably add an option for that.
Performace is bad
Select the "Low" Profile in the options.
Try to disable these features: PBR, Godrays, DoF

I have white sky problem with this shaders
I installed this and my screen goes gray when I turn it on. I'm using the Better Minecraft 1.18.1 pack so I'm not sure if it's a compatability issue or something.
In reply to animeowgaming:
It's most likely a mod compatibility issue
Every time I turn it on it just turns the screen into one solid color and doesn't work. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if it's broken.
In reply to zk1ckw:
your pc probably can't handle the shaders try some liter shaders if you want I suggest chocopaic v8 lite/toaster or sildurs vibrant lite
it's time to add adjustable shadow
-according to me-
This Shaders works on mac and looks AMAZING
In reply to ghullol123:
m1 Mac?
In reply to kauaimoon:
For me too, and on M1
this shader looks amazing!!!!!! is it for low end?
In reply to straw_hats_pirates:
It is low end compared to other shaders, yes. You can even run it on integrated graphics!
does it work on minecraft bedrock too? and if yes, how?
In reply to japada99:
Short answer: No
Long answer: I think there are ways to get OptiFine shaders working on Bedrock/MCPE but I don't know exactly how that works, I think it requires some mods and a 3rd-party launcher. If you really want to use shaders on bedrock you'll have to research how it can be done. I don't know how and how well it works.
Genuinely my favourite shader now
But 1 critique, water reflections are incredibly distracting, specifically around the edges of the screen because of the way Screen Space Reflections work, is there a way to disable water reflections without having that flat blue shade? It'd truly be my no.1 shader if I could just have normal Minecraft water
Maybe even have a feature to have both the "raytracing + flipped image" option to fix the screen edge screen space issue
In reply to ReachTea:
You can go to Options > Debug > SCREEN_SPACE_REFLECTION and disable it.
Don't forget to enable Water Texture under Options > Water else the water will be invisible
In reply to drdesten:
wow, thanks, that's flawless, most Shaders that let you disable SSR keep the terrible blue gradient making it look very poor, this shader is now perfected and I'm extremely picky with shaders basically only ever using enhanced default, wew lad
shadows?
The shader is really beautiful but there is one thing missing , when the sun reflects on any block , there is a glow on the block , this glow should change according to the transparency of the block , I think the only thing missing .
Hi, the water seems to be really weird and glitchy for me. Is there a way that this can be fixed? I love the shader though amazing! I can actually play without my fps being like 2.
In reply to rusted_cognition:
I too have this problem
