Wacos Chat

THIS IS AN INACTIVE PLUGIN

Change your server up, and clean up your chat by limiting chat to a range in blocks. With this plugin running, players can only chat to people within a certain range, and can't hear anyone that is outside the range. This can have huge advantages for minecraft servers with huge player counts that want to lower chat activity, and for survival servers that want to 'bump up' the survival experience by making chat more realistic.

This plugin has support for fullwidth fonts, a chat functionality that FullWidthFont introduced. This plugin will not work with that plugin, but shares the functionality of it. You can toggle the font in the config, along with the range for the chat.

Commands

/shout - Toggles shouting for your character, allowing everyone to hear you, unless they are using /ignore. Permission: WacosChat.shout

/mute - Mutes a player on the server. Keep in mind that other mute commands from other plugins will not work. Permission: WacosChat.mute

/ignore - Ignores all normal players in the server, even if they are shouting. Permission: WacosChat.ignore

/spy - Hear all player chat throughout the server. Permission: WacosChat.spy

Permissions

WacosChat.shout - Allows the player to use /shout

WacosChat.mute - Allows the player to use /mute

WacosChat.ignore - Allows the player to use /ignore

WacosChat.spy - Allows the player to use /spy

WacosChat.admin - Makes the player unable to be ignored via the /ignore command.

WacosChat.mod - Allows the player to use /shout, /spy, and /ignore on the server.

WacosChat.* - Grants all permissions for WacosChat.
