Introduction

VoxelPlayerPlugin is the server-side counterpart to VoxelPlayer. Its primary function is to send raw chat to the client to allow more reliable chat bubble display. It can also be used to send player rank information to the client to enable the “coloured names” capability.

• Requires VoxelPacket
• Clients must be using VoxelModPack v8.5 or BronyModPack v1.1 to take advantage of this plugin.

Features

VoxelPlayerPlugin is available as two parts: the base plugin itself provides the chat replication functionality as well as a pluggable interface for providing rank information. The second part integrates with the PermissionsEx plugin to allow rank colours to be specified as PEX “option” nodes. No configuration is necessary, if your server is running PEX, simply drop the VPRankProviderPEX jar into your “plugins” directory and then use the command below to configure the colours.

Commands

No commands are required to configure the plugins directly, colored names are configured via extension plugins that integrate with permission plugins.
