UUID is an easy to use, and light-weight plugin that will check and show you a players UUID so you can use it to config newly updated plugins that support UUID's. UUID may seen a little poor right now but updates will come! :)

The plugin is very light-weight, and you won't even know its there! The server's performance will not show a difference. Even if you think "I don't need this," it's still helpful to install it on your server because there may be a time where you need to check a players UUID for references for your server - well now you can!

Little note on how I do my update versions:

V1.2.3 - 1 = When I redo a plugin or do a massive update. 2 = When I add a new feature (Number of features added corrspands to the number given) 3 = Number of bugs/issues I fixed | So V2.4.21 = I've overhauled the plugin 1 time (V1.0 is just the first release of the plugin) I've added 4 new features since launch of the new overhaul (V2) and I've fixed 21 issues/bugs since the launch of overhaul (V2)

Permissions and Commands:

/UUID	None	Shows the plugin info.
/UUID Check <PlayerName>	UUID.Check	Check a player's UUID.
/UUID Reload	UUID.Reload	Reloads the plugin config.
/UUID Update	UUID.Update	Checks for an update.
/UUID Help	None	Shows the help menu.
/UUID BugReport	None	Reports a bug.
None	UUID.Update.Message	Sends the player a message if their is an new update.
None	UUID.Update.Download	Give permission to automatically download the install a new update.
None	UUID.*	Gives access to everything.

How To Install:

Download UUID's latest version from this page, and you should get a .jar. Place that into your server's plugins folder and your done!

To-Do List:

bull1 Copy the UUID by clicking on it and pressing copy.

bull1 Log players name changes/history.

bull1 MySQL Support. (Never done before, going to take time! Sorry)

bull1 Change to a better API and not use Mojangs API.

bull1 Get notifications if a user has had a name change since they were last on the server.

bull1 Block users from joining the server that have had a name change. The idea be-hide this is that you could make it so a user has to post on the forums if they changed their name and also to stop plugins from braking because they may use usernames not UUIDs.

Stats:

This plugin sends statistics about the usage to the server http://mcstats.org/. To disable Metrics go into Metrics config and find "opt-out: false" and change "false" to "true". Although sending info to the website is safe and helps me get info on how many servers and players are using the plugin, and puts the info into the graph below!
