Catch Cheaters in the act with TrackMyMiner
My first plugin in a very long time. TrackMyMiner is a fairly simple Spiggot plugin that identifies miners who may be using xray packs, and then notifies administrators of the potential cheater, Giving them the chance to monitor the player
Commands
- mspy <player name> - Teleports you to <player name> in spectator mode. use mback to exit "spy mode" and be returned to your original location
- msee - Allows you to view the inventory of a player you are spying on. The ability to remove items from an inventory will come in a later update
- mback - Exit "spy mode" and return to your original location in your original gamemode
What triggers a warning?
TrackMyMiner will warn all online admins when a player mines more than 2 veins of ore in a 10 minute period. It does this by assuming a player has moved on to a new vein if they haven't mined in 10 seconds, or if they mine a different block within those 10 seconds.
The notification
The notification will identify who has mined which block, and where they were. Clicking on the text will execute the mspy command and send you to the player
Permissions
The permission system has not yet been formally tested.
Anyone with the miner.spy permission should be able to use mspy, msee, and mback as well as click on the text.
Anyone with the miner.notify permission should receive the notifications
There is currently no support for a miner.* permission
