Storm Sync

Description:

This plugin enables servers to sync the in-game weather with real world weather by location. It can also sync the time. This plugin uses rss feeds from various providers to enable near-realtime updates.

Commands/Permissions:

stormsync

• Aliased as: ss
  
• Arguments:
  

1. sync:
   Immediately syncs the weather and begins the automatic sync process
   
2. unsync:
   Stops the plugin from automatically syncing
   
3. synconce:
   Immediately syncs without beginning the automatic sync process
   
4. testfeed:
   Prints the parsed xml messages (for troubleshooting purposes)

forecast

• If sent by player:
  prints a 3-day forecast to the player
  
• If sent by console:
  broadcasts a 3-day forecast to the entire server
  
• Permission:
  stormsync.forecast

Metrics

This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:

• A unique identifier
• The server's version of Java
• Whether the server is in offline or online mode
• The plugin's version
• The server's version
• The OS version/name and architecture
• The core count for the CPU
• The number of players online
• The Metrics version

You can opt out in '/plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml' This plugin also makes periodic RSS fetch requests to the url supplied in '/plugins/Storm Sync/config.yml'
