🛏️ Simple Bed Wars

⚔️ Hypixel-style Bed Wars for your server, set up with one command!
🖥️ Server-side only: players join with a normal vanilla client, nothing to install.

Run /bw server and your server becomes a Bed Wars server 🎉 A lobby, 5 game modes, 10 maps, villager shops, generators and a live sidebar are all built for you. 📝 No config files to edit, everything is done with commands.

✨ FEATURES

🏰 Bed Wars Lobby
- 🧍 Everyone spawns in a Bed Wars lobby with a villager for each mode: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5
- 👥 Each villager shows how many players are in that mode. Click one (or use the 🧭 compass) to join
- 🔀 Every mode has its own arena, so all five can run at the same time
- ⏳ Waiting lobby with a countdown (20s, 10s when the game is full)

🗺️ 10 Maps, 3 Layouts Each

- 🧩 Every map comes in an 8-team, a 4-team and a 2-team layout, so any map works with any mode
- 🔄 Map pool: every game is played on a different map, and all maps come up once before any repeats. Choose which maps are in the pool with /bw pool
- 🌉 No pre-built bridges. Bridge out yourself!

🎮 Gameplay
- 🛒 Item Shop with ⭐ Quick Buy (shift-click an item to add it), permanent armor and tool tiers
- ⬆️ Team Upgrades: 🗡️ Sharpened Swords, 🛡️ Reinforced Armor, ⛏️ Maniac Miner, 🔨 Forge, 💖 Heal Pool
- 🪤 Traps: It's a Trap!, Counter-Offensive, Alarm, Miner Fatigue
- 🪙 Island forge (iron, gold, and emeralds with a Forge upgrade), 💎 diamond and 💚 emerald generators that tier up during the game
- 💥 Special items: 🔥 Fireball, 🥚 Bridge Egg, 🧨 instant TNT, 🗼 Compact Pop-up Tower, 🐛 Bedbug, 🦾 Dream Defender, 🥛 Magic Milk
- 🛏️ Beds, ☠️ final kills, ⏱️ respawn timer, 💣 bed destruction and ⚡ sudden death events, 🏆 victory screen
- 📊 Sidebar and team nametags. Change the sidebar title and footer with commands

🔒 Safe for Your Server
- 🌍 Bed Wars runs in its own world/dimension. Your main world is never changed
- 🎒 Players' own inventory, XP, health and position are saved when they enter Bed Wars and given back with /bw server off, even after a crash
- 🚀 Maps are built and reset a little each tick, so swapping maps between games doesn't lag the server

🚀 GETTING STARTED

1. 📦 Fabric: put the jar in the mods folder together with Fabric API. Paper: put the jar in the plugins folder
2. ▶️ Start the server and, as an operator, run /bw server
3. 🎯 Players click a mode villager in the lobby. A game starts once 2 players are in!

💡 Want just one arena instead of a full Bed Wars server? Use /bw install [map] [mode] and players join with /bw join

📜 COMMANDS

🎮 /bw join <mode> - Join a mode (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5)
🚪 /bw leave - Leave the game
🏰 /bw hub - Back to the Bed Wars lobby
🔛 /bw server - Turn the server into a Bed Wars server
📴 /bw server off - Turn it off, everyone gets their things back
🏗️ /bw install [map] [mode] - Build a single arena without the lobby
📈 /bw status - Every arena, its map and player count
🗺️ /bw maps - List the maps
🔄 /bw pool [add|remove <map|all>] - Maps that games pick from
⏩ /bw start [mode] - Skip the countdown
⏹️ /bw stop [mode] - End a game
✏️ /bw set title <text> - Rename the sidebar title (& colour codes work)
🌐 /bw set footer <text> - Change the sidebar's bottom line (e.g. your server IP)
⚙️ /bw set <setting> <value> - map, minplayers, countdown, fullcountdown, respawn, requeue, servertag
📋 /bw settings - Show all settings
🗑️ /bw uninstall - Remove everything

🔑 Permission: simplebedwars.admin for setup and admin commands (operators have it by default). Players only need /bw join, /bw leave and /bw hub.

🧩 COMPATIBILITY

- 🟩 Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3
- 🧵 Fabric (requires Fabric API) and 📄 Paper. Paper 26.3 support uses Paper's current 26.3 beta builds
