Features

This plugin allows users to setup way-point signs (called spawn signs) around their map (mainly used for parkour courses or extreme races). You create teleport signs that teleport you to spawn signs . You can choose to either load way-points when the player logs on, or not. The reward sign can be used to either reward the player with exp or items, you choose.

Background

I am a sever admin for my friends and we wanted to build a deadly parkour map. By the time we were nearing completion, i realized that it would be nearly impossible to complete the corse without dying so I looked around for plug-ins that I could use to setup waypoints for people to use if they die along the way. Of course there were none so I decided to build my own. This is the end result. Originally designed it for my own personal use so I had no need for permissions or commands, but upon releasing this I decided to add them just incase anybody needed them.

Commands

• /swp help - lists all commands
• /swp load - loads all waypoints saved in the waypoints.dat file
• /swp resetall - resets all waypoints
• /swp reset - resets only the waypoints not saved
• /swp setload <true/false> - change whether or not the server loads players way-points upon starting the server changed from "/swp setreset
• /swp saveall - saves all way-points

Permissions

• swp.* - all permission
• swp.load - allows you to use the "/swp load" command
• swp.reset - allows you to use the "/swp reset" command
• swp.resetall - allows you to use the "/swp resetall" or the "/swp reset" command
• swp.setload - allows you to use the "/swp setload" command
• swp.saveall - allows you to use the "swp saveall" command
• swp.signs.* - allows you to place and destroy all signs
• swp.signs.spawn - allows you to place and destroy the spawn signs
• swp.signs.teleport - allows you to place and destroy the teleport signs
• swp.signs.rewards - allows you to place and destroy the reward signs

Set-up

Teleport sign - used to teleport to a spawn sign:

1. set down the sign and on the top line write "Teleport"
2. after that all other lines can be used as instructions or not at all

Spawn sign - click on this sign to set your teleport where your feet are:

1. set down the sign and on the top line write "Spawn"
2. after that all other lines can be used as instructions or not at all

Reward signs - used to reward players for clicking on them with exp or items, afterwards it teleports them to the map spawn and resets their way-points:

1. set down the sign and on the top line write "TP to Spawn"
2. on the second line write either:
   1. "EXP <number of lvls of exp granted>"
   2. "<item id> [space] <quantity of items given>

- if you set up the reward sign improperly, you will be told and the text on the sign will be removed

• add a setting to remember way-points for long-term use

• I am working on a new plugin that can be used to help admins let people create buildings, obstacle courses, statue, etc... in creative mode, without having to worry about anyone destroying the world from creative. It will also have other cool tools for obstacle courses or pvp maps, such as teleportation, redstone power output signs, in-game credits, mob spawners, and others. So you can easily make a zombie arena or a pvp map or a parkour course with this plugin. Be looking for it : )
