Automatic Minecraft store delivery with Stripe, Vercel and a Paper plugin
This is a small system that delivers store purchases in game automatically, with no staff member involved. It is built from three free or low cost parts and works with any Paper 1.21 server.
How it works
- A buyer pays on a Stripe payment link. The link asks for their Minecraft username.
- Stripe sends a signed message to a small backend hosted on Vercel. The backend proves the message is real, looks the username up at Mojang, and saves a delivery job in a Redis database.
- A plugin on your server asks the backend for new jobs every 20 seconds.
- The plugin runs the commands you chose for that product, as the console, and reports back.
- Renewals, cancellations and refunds do the same, so ranks are added and removed to match Stripe.
What you get
- Four events per product: initial delivery, monthly renewal, expiry and chargeback, the same as a Tebex package.
- Monthly ranks as real Stripe subscriptions.
- No double deliveries. If the network fails at the wrong moment, the job still runs only once.
- A refund before delivery cancels it, and a refund after delivery takes the item back.
- A misspelled username waits for a staff fix instead of going to the wrong player.
- Commands live in your own server config. The backend never sends commands, only a product id, so a stolen password cannot run anything you did not write.
- Staff commands to check orders, redo a delivery and fix a username.
What you need
Accounts on Stripe, Vercel and Upstash (all have free plans), a Paper 1.21 server, and Node, Java 21 and Maven installed on one computer to set it up.
Honest limits
- Java usernames only. Bedrock names need a staff fix.
- The free plans have limits, for example 500,000 database commands a month.
- It was tested with fake payments and then a real purchase and refund. Do your own real test before you open your store.
- It cannot tell whether a command did what you meant, only whether the server accepted it.
Optional last line
If you want to mention it: an easier way to set this up is with a Claude account, which can connect to Stripe and Vercel. Anthropic lists the Pro plan at $20 per month in the US, and prices can change. It cannot run commands on your computer or server, so you still do those steps yourself.
Check the honest limits section stays in wherever you post it, so nobody expects it to work with Bedrock or without testing. Make sure the links you add point to the guide and the kit only.
