Server Maintenance

Minecraft 1.21 – 1.21.11 · Paper / Spigot · EN / RU

Server Maintenance is a lightweight plugin that lets you put your server into a password-protected maintenance mode. Perfect for private testing, technical works, or access control — only players who know the password can get in.

Players who join a locked server are fully restricted: blindness, no movement, chat, inventory or commands, and other players and scoreboards are hidden. After entering the correct password, everything is restored instantly with a nice unlock effect.

Features

  • Maintenance mode — lock the server with a password; testers join via /password.
  • Full lock mode — access completely disabled, even with the password — only servermaintenance.bypass works.
  • Kick reason on full lock — /maintenance full "Planned update" kicks players with your message.
  • Anti brute-force — 3 minutes to enter the password; 3 wrong attempts = 15-minute entry ban.
  • Admin unban — /maintenance unban <player> works for offline players too.
  • Full restrictions — blindness, freeze, chat/inventory/command blocking, player and scoreboard hiding.
  • Bilingual — English and Russian, switchable in config. English by default.
  • Configurable — every message and every effect is editable in config.yml.
