Build rune circles and unleash ritual magic.

RuneCircles turns block-building into spellcasting. Players construct a ring of a specific block material, then drop a matching catalyst item at the center to awaken a powerful ritual effect.

Each rune pairs a ring material with a catalyst — for example a bone-block ring with a dropped arrow summons an arrow storm onto nearby monsters. Six runes ship by default, covering offense, healing, cleansing, mobility, and protection, complete with particles and sound on activation.

A built-in journal lets players browse known runes and request hints that reveal each pattern's ring block, catalyst, and layout, so discovery becomes part of the gameplay.

• 🛡️ WardingShield — Wrap nearby allies in resistance and fire protection.
• 📖 Rune Journal — Browse known runes and request hints revealing each pattern's blocks and catalyst.

💬 Commands

/runes <journal|hint|reload>     journal lists known runes, hint <name> reveals a rune's ring block, catalyst and pattern, reload reloads the config (requires runecircles.reload).

🔒 Permissions

runecircles.reload     Allows reloading the RuneCircles configuration. (default: op)
runecircles.use        Allows activating rune circles. (default: true)

📥 Installation

1. Drop RuneCircles.jar into your /plugins folder.
2. Restart the server (Minecraft 1.21).
3. Customize runes in config.yml and run /runes reload.
