Risk of Rain
For anyone that doesn't know, Risk of Rain is a game that gets progressively harder as time goes on. There's a small timer you can view and it displays the current difficulty. I took this general idea and made it so that all of the mobs become stronger as time goes on.
Features
- Progressive Difficulty using a timer that increments difficulty by 1%
- The timer delay can be set
- Features special skeleton attack: They shoot 5 arrows
- Features special spider attack: They have real poison (Slow, Poison, Weakness)
- Features special creeper explosion: You get launched far
- Features Guardian Rain which replaces rain with guardians falling from the sky
- Features Spider Guardian, a guardian riding a spider (spawns after 25% difficulty)
- Endermen are invisible after 25%
- Killing mobs has a 50% chance of dropping some iron. The higher the difficulty, the more iron dropped.
- Features custom crafting
- 0.01% chance you receive 4 stacks of iron blocks when you break a block
- If Jesus is enabled: 50% chance of revival on death
- Blink (if enabled)
- Booty bounce (if enabled)
Custom Crafting
You can surround tools (Swords, Shovels, Hoes, Axes, Pickaxes) in iron in a crafting table to enchant it. This gives it the default enchant for its type. If the item has enchants on it already, it will scale every enchantment up by 1. (Ex: Sharpness I to Sharpness II).
Purpose / Setup
I built this for small use. The idea is you download it, drop it in your plugins folder, and start the server. It's a modified survival honestly. It doesn't do anything else besides make the world around you progressively more dangerous.
How to use:
- Download Risk of Rain plugin
- Download McLeveler plugin
- Drag plugins into plugin folder
Other Notes
This was built to pair with another plugin I made called McLeveler. The purpose of that plugin is to provide buffs for gaining xp, and it allows you to survive past 5% difficulty.
It usually takes 3 hours to get to 100% difficulty, you die a lot.
