RandomMOTD

Ever wanted to display a Random MOTD? Then this plugin is just right for you.

This plugin was an idea that came quickly to me, I've seen a few servers use it, but this one is unique, why? because we have variables! You can show custom things to your players on the list that no other plugin like this offers! You can add as MANY messages as you want, and it will pick one at RANDOM for you! We do support colour codes, all of them, checkout http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Formatting_codes for a full list of them! :O (Yes, even formatting codes are usable)

This is what makes this plugin unique, no other plugin like it offers these, Here's a list of our variables:

You can use as MANY variables as you want in one message!

• /randommotd Shows the version of the plugin you're using.
• /randommotd reload Reloads the config so you don't have to restart/reload the server.

• randommotd.reload Allows access to the /randommotd reload command

The config is pretty simple! Here's the default one;

Messages:
- 'Your IP: %ip%'
- 'Version: %mcver%'
- 'Bukkit: %bukkitver%'
- '%rc%Random Colour!'
- 'Online Players: %online%'
- 'Max Players: %max%'

To add more just add a new line starting with - and then press space! Make sure you start your message with ' and end it with it also, otherwise you could run into problems because of the special characters!

I currently have no ideas for this plugin, but I'm looking for some, please feel free to leave a comment with a suggestion, it will be widely appreciated!

There is currently no known problems and the plugin works perfectly :)

This plugin is super easy to install and requires no extra things, Just drop it in to your /plugins/ folder and then restart the server, the plugin will be installed, add messages easily to your config, and them use /randommotd reload to reload the config so you can see the changes! :D
