Quidditch

Plugin is still in early Beta stage! It includes only a faction of the features I have planned and will be updated frequently!

Ever wanted to play quidditch, the fictional sport from Harry Potter, in real life? Well, since flying broomsticks don't exist yet, you'll have to just play it in Minecraft. But don't be sad, this is the next best thing from playing it in real life! With this plugin, you'll be able to mess around with your friends or hold a professional quidditch match on your server! So what are you waiting for? Hop on your speedy fast Firebolt and score some goals!

Commands

• /quidditch start - starts the quidditch match; announces a message into the chat, stating that the match has started, and spawns a snowball (the quaffle) at the coords of x: 781, y: 42, z: 53. This shall be editable in the future using the config.

• /quidditch snitch - spawns the golden snitch (a bat with the name tag of "Golden Snitch") where the player is standing. This will also announce a message into the chat, stating that the snitch has been released.

• /quidditch help - gives the player a list of commands.

Permissions:

• quidditch.start - allows the player to perform the /quidditch start command.

• quidditch.snitch - allows the player to perform the /quidditch snitch command.

To Do:

Please note that this plugin does not include many of the features I have planned and is still in the early beta stage. I plan on adding the following:

• Ability to actually pass quaffles (snowballs) back and forth.

• Two bludgers (hostile mobs that can fly, but normally would not be able to) would be spawned at two configurable locations when /quidditch start is performed.

• Broomsticks feature

• Goal scoring technology using scoreboard API.

• Messages in chat when a chaser scores a goal or passes the quaffle to a player.
