Description

PlayerTrace gives admins a complete solution to tracking players using their IP addresses. This allows admins to keep track of their player base and allows moderators to find alt accounts of trouble-makers and punish them as well.

Usage

There are commands under "/pt" that can be assigned to your moderators to allow them to find alts. There are more commands under "/ptadmin" that allow admins to modify the database.

Commands

• /pt print [user] - Prints the information about specified user
• /pt findipmatch [ip] - Finds all users who have ever logged in with given IP
• /pt findaltmatch [user] - Finds all users who have ever logged in with the same IP as specified user
• /ptadmin insert [user] [ip] - Inserts given IP address for specified user
• /ptadmin deleteplayer [user] - Deletes the information about specified user
• /ptadmin printtofile - Prints the database to a .csv file in the plugin's directory
• /ptadmin deletedatabase - Deletes the complete player database

Installation

• Download the newest PlayerTrace.jar file
• Place it in your bukkit plugins folder
• Start the server to allow the plugin to create its default folder and files
• You will see a one-time error about the database, ignore this
• Enjoy

Permissions

• playertrace.mod - Allows access to /pt command
• playertrace.admin - Allows access to /ptadmin command
