This plugin was made to fulfill a request found here

This plugin allows you to restrict the placement of torches up to a certain Y level and on certain blocks at any Y level. When denied of placing a torch, there is a fizz sound and a message sent.

There are 2 permissions:

noytorches.reload - allows you to reload the config using the command /noytorches
noytorches.bypass - allows you to bypass the torch placement restrictions

There is a config that allows you to change:

Whether the torch will fizz when denied placing a torch
The maximum denial height
The message sent when denied placing a torch at or below the denial height
The blocks that can't have torches placed on them
The message sent when denied placing a torch on a block that doesn't allow it
Whether to cancel the torch placement or to let the torch break naturally.

How to install

Just place the plugin in your plugins folder and reload
