MySQL connect allows you efficiently manage your server whitelist. When there are lots of players on a server it is hard to manage a whitelist and quickly add players. With this plugin a website form could be setup and linked to the database so players can be added with ease. If a player that is not on the whitelist joins, they will get a message that says “You are not whitelisted!” In order to setup this plugin you must first have a MySQL database and a Spigot server. You will need to manually create the database called whitelist. Once created enter the database credentials in the config.yml file.
This plugin uses bStats, to track anonymous data about servers using this plugin. It will help the future developement, and has no impact on your server's performance. If you really want to disable it, go to the folder /plugins/bStats/config.yml and set "enabled: false".
