MobEquip

Overview

MobEquip is a plugin that lets you put items on the heads, chests, legs, feet, and in the hands of mobs with the use of a command. You select mobs by clicking on them (not hitting them) with the key which can be set in the configuration. The default is a diamond axe.

Why should I use this?

MobEquip can be useful for a great many things. For one thing, it can be used to make boss mobs if you have a mob arena. For another, it can be used to make maps (if you're making the map using Bukkit, which is unlikely but possible.) MobEquip works with any mob and any item, but only zombies, pig zombies, skeletons, and wither skeletons show. Additionally, MobEquip is not limited to mobs. If it is alive, MobEquip can equip it. This includes players, so be careful who you give the permissions to.

Commands

• /equip <hand|head|chest|legs|feet> - Equips the selected mob with the item in your hand.

Permissions

• mobequip.* - All MobEquip permissions.
  
• mobequip.select - Select mobs.
  
• mobequip.equip - Allows equipping to all parts of mobs.
  
• mobequip.equip.hand - Allows equipping to the hand.
  
• mobequip.equip.head - Allows equipping to the head.
  
• mobequip.equip.chest - Allows equipping to the chest.
  
• mobequip.equip.legs - Allows equipping to the legs.
  
• mobequip.equip.feet - Allows equipping to the feet.
  
• mobequip.keep - Allows you to keep the items you equip.

Installation

Ensure that you have Java 7 or higher, and drop the .jar file in your plugins folder.
You need to run your server with Java 7 or higher to run this plugin.
