## Added
- Added safe update checks through the official GitHub Releases feed.
- Added `/mcstat update` to check whether a newer MCStat plugin jar is available.
- Added `/mcstat update download` to download the matching platform jar into the local safe updates folder.

## Safety
- Automatic download is disabled by default.
- The plugin never hot-swaps or replaces a running jar.
- Downloaded updates are staged under the plugin data folder in `updates/`.
- Installing a downloaded update still requires replacing the jar and restarting the server.
## Fixed / Improved
- Keeps previous API retry and queue improvements.
- Keeps throttled API warning logs so temporary API errors or rate limits do not spam the server console.
- Keeps support for signed HTTPS telemetry, player sessions, playtime tracking, TPS on Bukkit-family servers, and `/vote`.

Upload this file on BukkitDev/CurseForge with:
- File: `McStat-Spigot-1.1.4.jar`
- Display name: `MCStat v1.1.4`
- Release type: `Release`
- Supported Bukkit versions: `1.13` through current stable Bukkit/Paper versions
Replace your old MCStat jar with `McStat-Spigot-1.1.4.jar`, restart the server, then run:

```
If you want update checks enabled, keep:
