MCRealTime v4.9
What's new
MCRealTime 4.9 — Solar Date-Line Maintenance Update
Version 4.9 corrects astronomical date handling for locations near the International Date Line. No new commands or configuration changes are required.
Fixed
- Corrected the association of sunrise, solar noon, and sunset with the selected location's local calendar date.
- Improved solar-day calculations for locations with large UTC offsets.
Tests
Added automated regression tests for Berlin, Sydney, Samoa, and Kiribati.
Updating
- From 4.8: Use
/mcrt updateto check GitHub Releases, then/mcrt update downloadto stage the update. Alternatively, enable automatic update downloads. Restart the server normally to activate the staged version; no manual JAR replacement is needed when the built-in updater works. - From 4.1: The legacy BukkitDev automatic updater has been tested successfully downloading version 4.8 when automatic updating is enabled. In that test, the old manual update command incorrectly reported that the plugin was up to date. Once 4.8 is installed, use its GitHub-based updater to obtain 4.9. A one-time manual upgrade remains an alternative if the legacy updater does not work on your server.
