What MCMechanic Does

Description

MCMechanic fixes one of the most common problems in Minecraft servers mainly referred to as Relog . People always accuse other PvPers of having an advantage because they logged in after them. With MCMechanic the advantage is taken away and the playing field is evened. Logging in and out no longer effects how well you PvP. It works by shuffling the list that determines which player data is sent to first. No commands No permissions, the only configuration is the rate at which the list is shuffled. A faster shuffle will result in more resources used. MCMechanic is a very lightweight plugin that will run on 1.5.2 - 1.7.9. It will need to be updated in future updates, but updating it will only require a few changes to its code. MCMechanic is planned to fix many other bugs in Minecraft servers, support for earlier versions is coming.

Currently MCMechanic fixes the PvP relog glitch in minecraft, Preventing players from getting an advantage when they log out and back in.

Configuration

There is one configurable feature. You can change the rate at which the relog list is shuffled. By default the ShuffleInterval is set to 20 seconds per shuffle. Shuffling too fast can cause performance issues, It's best to keep it at 10 - 20 seconds per shuffle.

Installation

Drop MCMechanic into your server's plugin folder and reload the server. It will create a config with the default ShuffleInterval at 20 seconds per shuffle.
