MailChest

Create mailboxes from chests. Everyone can drop items in, but only the owner can see the contents and take things out.

Features

Players get notified of new mail.
Players can't destroy other players' mailboxes.
Players can't steal from other players' mailboxes.
Mailboxes can be protected from explosions.
Admins can look inside other players' mailboxes by right-clicking while sneaking.
Permissions support - control who can create, destroy, and snoop inside mailboxes.

Creating mailboxes

Place a chest on top of a fence post, cobblestone wall, or mossy cobblestone wall.
Place a sign next to a single chest with [Mailbox] as the first line.

You can configure which types of mailbox to allow and what the sign's first line should be.

Using mailboxes

Just right-click the mailbox and you'll see an interface with one row of item slots. When you close this, whatever you put in the slots will be placed in the mailbox chest. If it's full, you'll get back anything that didn't fit
