Call down the storm on demand

LightningStrike gives server staff full command over the sky. Summon a bolt on a single player, target exact coordinates, or unleash chain lightning that ripples out to everyone within a radius.

Every action supports a cosmetic mode that fires a harmless visual bolt — no damage, no fires — perfect for cinematics and roleplay. Drop the flag and the lightning deals real damage instead.

Each subcommand has its own permission node, so you can hand out narrow access without granting full control.

🎯 Strike a Player — Hit any online player directly with a bolt at their location.
📍 Strike Coordinates — Target exact X/Y/Z coordinates in the sender's world (or the main world from console).
🔗 Chain Lightning — Cascade staggered bolts onto every player within a radius, capped by a configurable chain limit.
✨ Cosmetic Mode — Add the cosmetic flag for visual-only bolts that deal no damage and start no fires.
🔑 Granular Permissions — Per-action permission nodes plus an admin node that bundles them all.

💬 Commands

/lightning <strike|at|chain> [args...] Admin command to strike a player (strike <player> [cosmetic]), strike coordinates (at <x> <y> <z> [cosmetic]), or chain lightning around a player (chain <player> <radius> [cosmetic]).

🔒 Permissions

lightningstrike.use    Allows using the /lightning command. (default: op)
lightningstrike.strike Allows /lightning strike <player> [cosmetic]. (default: op)
lightningstrike.at     Allows /lightning at <x> <y> <z> [cosmetic]. (default: op)
lightningstrike.chain  Allows /lightning chain <player> <radius> [cosmetic]. (default: op)
lightningstrike.admin  Grants all LightningStrike permissions. (default: op)
