What's new
LangBridge 1.0.0 — First Release
LangBridge allows you to automatically translate Minecraft plugin messages into different languages without manually editing files. Using an in-game menu, you can manage your plugin translations easily and safely.
Plugin Translation
- Automatically translates plugin messages from their
.ymlfiles using the/lbcommand. - Lists all server plugins and identifies which ones have messages waiting to be translated and which are already translated.
- Protects color codes (
&a,&#ff0000, MiniMessage), placeholders (%player%,{0}), and URLs to prevent them from being modified. - Preserves comments and the original file formatting.
- Distinguishes translatable messages from configuration values such as materials, sounds, permissions, and commands.
- Validates files before saving to reduce the risk of errors.
Translation Tools
- Built-in Editor: Review and correct translations line by line directly in the game.
- Backups: Automatically saves original files before translating them so they can be restored whenever needed.
- Language Packs: Export and import translations to share them with other servers.
- Language Detection: Detects whether a plugin already includes translation files in other languages.
Per-Player Language
With ProtocolLib, which is optional, each player can receive plugin messages in the language configured in their Minecraft client. Players can also select their preferred language using the /lb idioma command.
Translation Engines
LangBridge supports the following translation services:
- Google Translate: Free translation without requiring an API key.
- DeepL: Supported through a free API key.
Compatibility
Compatible with Paper, Purpur, and Spigot, starting from Minecraft 1.16.5.
