KryvexCore

Behavioral anti-cheat for Paper 1.20 with movement, combat and X-Ray analysis.
KryvexCore is a behavioral anti-cheat for Paper 1.20.x servers.

The plugin analyzes player movement, combat behavior, block interaction and mining patterns. Suspicious behavior increases a player's Violation Level (VL), allowing server staff to investigate potential cheating.

Features
Movement Checks
KryvexCore analyzes player movement for suspicious patterns.

Supported movement analysis includes:

  • Speed detection

  • Acceleration analysis

  • Movement prediction

  • Air movement prediction

  • Suspicious movement patterns

  • Abnormal movement changes
The movement system is designed to account for normal gameplay situations such as knockback, velocity and other movement-related events.

Combat Checks
KryvexCore analyzes combat behavior and attack patterns.

Supported combat checks include:

  • Aim analysis

  • Aim stability analysis

  • Aim rotation pattern analysis

  • Reach detection

  • Interaction Reach detection

  • AutoClick detection

  • Combat timing analysis

  • Combat multi-action analysis
The system uses behavioral signals instead of relying on a single value.

Block Interaction Checks
KryvexCore monitors suspicious block interaction behavior.

Checks include:

  • FastBreak detection

  • FastPlace detection

  • Interaction Reach detection

  • Inventory-Move detection
These checks can detect interaction patterns that are outside normal Minecraft behavior.

X-Ray Detection
KryvexCore includes behavioral X-Ray analysis.

Instead of simply checking whether a player finds an ore, the system analyzes mining behavior and multiple signals.

X-Ray analysis can include:

  • Rare ore detection

  • Ore ratio analysis

  • Ore chain analysis

  • Mining route analysis

  • Mining direction analysis

  • Suspicious mining patterns

  • X-Ray information reports
Example detection:

XRAY-RARE +1.40 VL=1.40

This means that the X-Ray system detected a suspicious rare-ore mining pattern and added 1.40 Violation Level.

A single X-Ray detection should not automatically be considered proof of cheating.

Violation Level System
KryvexCore uses a Violation Level system.

Different detections add different amounts of VL depending on the severity of the suspicious behavior.

Example:

PlayerName SPEED +1.20 VL=4.80

  • SPEED — detection type

  • +1.20 — VL added by the detection

  • VL=4.80 — player's current Violation Level
Accumulated VL can help staff identify players who repeatedly trigger suspicious detections.

Alerts
KryvexCore provides staff alerts for detected suspicious behavior.

Example:

[KryvexCore] PlayerName XRAY-RARE +1.40 VL=1.40

Alerts allow staff to monitor detections in real time.

Requirements
  • Paper 1.20.x

  • Java version supported by your Paper 1.20.x server
KryvexCore is currently developed and tested for Paper 1.20.x.

False Positives
KryvexCore uses behavioral analysis, so unusual gameplay or server conditions can sometimes produce detections.

Possible causes include:

  • Server lag

  • High player ping

  • Knockback

  • Teleports

  • Velocity changes

  • Vehicles

  • Liquids

  • Other plugins modifying player movement

  • Server performance problems
A single detection should not automatically result in a punishment.

Staff should review the player's behavior and accumulated detections before taking action.

Compatibility
KryvexCore is currently intended for:

Paper 1.20.x

Other Minecraft versions may not be supported.

Beta
KryvexCore is currently a beta project.

The detection system is actively being tested and improved. Detection accuracy, false positives and compatibility may change between versions.

Bug reports and detailed detection reports are welcome.

When reporting an issue, include:

  • Minecraft version

  • Paper version

  • KryvexCore version

  • Detection type

  • Player ping

  • Relevant console output

  • Steps to reproduce the issue
Important
KryvexCore is designed to assist server staff with detecting suspicious behavior.

A Violation Level is an indicator, not definitive proof of cheating.

Always investigate unusual detections before manually punishing a player.
