What's new

  • The commands answer what happened, not that the request arrived. /antivpn whitelist and /antivpn blacklist went green on the response code alone. An unwhitelist on someone who was never on the list answered "permission removed", which is exactly what happens when the name has one letter too many, so the one moment you needed to be told was the moment it stayed quiet. There are three answers now: done, nothing to change, and could not save. That last one did not exist at all: if the write failed, the command still answered green.
  • The permission tells you when it runs out. If you have a default duration set for permissions granted from the server, a plain /antivpn whitelist Pepito switched itself off when that time was up and nobody said so. The player bounced again days later and there was nothing to tie the two together. It now shows underneath, as time remaining and in the same format the command itself teaches you to type (7d, 12h, 30m), so you can copy it straight back. It also says how many addresses were lifted along the way.
  • Tab completion for the player name. The second argument returned an empty list on all three platforms: the name had to be typed out in full, by hand, and getting it wrong raised no error. It now completes from the players online, ignoring case, and only for staff allowed to moderate.
  • An unreadable config.yml is no longer taken for an unlinked server. If the file has a formatting error, or cannot be read at all, the settings come up empty and so does the license. The connector read that as "this server is not linked yet" and printed the linking banner, sending you off to link a server whose license was already sitting in the file. The real warning was one line above, buried. The console now says what is wrong and what to fix, tells "the file is there and cannot be read" apart from "it could not be created", and deliberately does not show the link: linking through it would write a fresh license over the file that could not be read.
  • Players you allowed in the panel are no longer cut by the connector. The local block is applied before asking, and on a different basis: the connector keeps addresses, while your allow list goes by name. A player with permission could take the block that someone else sharing their connection had earned, and it did not clear on its own. The Jarvis server now answers with who is allowed, and the connector stops deciding on its own: it asks.
  • Fewer false "suspicious client" reports in your panel. When a player joined, the connector waited a fixed time to collect their client details and sent whatever it had by then. In a share of cases the detail arrived slightly later and was lost, and that absence ended up marking legitimate players. It now waits for it, with a cap, and still sends a single report per player.
  • /antivpn doctor warns you if your config.yml could not be read. When the file has an error, the connector deliberately keeps the settings it already had in memory and carries on protecting, but with the PREVIOUS configuration, not the one you just wrote. Reload tells you so at that moment; if you were not watching the console, the report afterwards told you everything was fine. It now comes up as a warning, with what to do about it.
  • Players blocked by your country rule now read why, in their language. If you have the country rule turned on, the connector did not recognise that reason and fell back to the generic text, so the player was told something that did not match what had happened and your staff got the same non-answer. It is now spelled out, in all 27 panel languages.
  • And a number of smaller fixes, not detailed here because they touch things already announced in earlier versions.
