JailSystem

Jail misbehaving players in a confined zone with timed sentences that persist across restarts and relogs. Simple staff moderation

🔒 JailSystem

Confine rule-breakers with timed, persistent jail sentences.

JailSystem is a focused moderation plugin for sending disruptive players to jail. Staff define jail locations in-game, then jail any online player for a set number of minutes.

Jailed players are teleported to the cell and confined within a configurable radius. Walking out, teleporting away, or changing worlds is blocked automatically, keeping the player contained for the duration of their sentence.

Sentences are timed and saved to disk, so they survive server restarts and player disconnects. A jailed player who rejoins is sent straight back to the cell with their remaining time, and staff can release anyone early with /unjail.

✨ Features

  • ⏱️ Timed Sentences — Jail players for a set number of minutes, defaulting to a configurable duration when none is given.
  • 🚧 Confined Zone — Jailed players are blocked from walking, teleporting, or world-hopping out of a radius around the cell.
  • 💾 Persistent Across Restarts — Sentences are saved to disk and restored on restart, so jail time isn't lost when the server reboots.
  • 🔁 Relog-Proof — Players who disconnect and rejoin are teleported back to the cell with their remaining time.
  • 📍 In-Game Jail Setup — Define jail locations on the fly with /jail setlocation <name> — no manual config editing required.
  • 🔓 Early Release — Staff can free any jailed player instantly with /unjail, even if they're offline.

💬 Commands

/jail <player> [minutes] | /jail setlocation <name> Jail a player for the given minutes (or the default duration), or save a jail location at your current position.
