What is ItemTag?

ItemTag 1.0 is a great and creative new way to trace back all kinds of problems, dilemmas, and even just returning lost property! Upon a player picking up or dropping an item, or selecting it from a chest or inventory, it will instantly tag the item with there name in the lore, so that no one else can steal and claim what they find and own. It even allows the administrator or owner of the server to manually tag players to a specific item they are holding, overriding any predefined lore the plugin may first find.

Why do I need it?

By using ItemTag you can quickly and easily solve multiple problems and scenarios at once, simply by checking the lore on an item! Just take a look at these examples or see for yourself:

Found an anonymous chest full of duped items?

By using ItemTag, the items tags would also have been duplicated, and therefore you can see the abuser!

One of your members accusing another player of stealing their items?

Simply by using ItemTag, you could search the thieves inventory and chests until you find the tagged items desired!

Two players fighting over who found what items?

With ItemTag installed, all you have to do is see who's items have what tags, and return them!

Known bugs!

Currently we only have a few bugs on here, seeing as it is a small and lightweight plugin:

Does not override other lore on items (Now solvable! To come soon...).
Does not add lore to items placed directly in the inventory such through another plugin or other 3rd party software.
Blocks can still be placed & broken to remove data (Not fixable, permanent bug!)
