Discord Webhook Integration
Heaven Eyes can send selected events to Discord channels, including:
- Anti-cheat violation alerts.
- Warning, kick, ban, and unban notifications for supported actions.
- Player-history events.
- Important plugin status and error notifications.
Webhook destinations can be configured separately for different event categories. Network requests should run asynchronously, with appropriate rate-limit handling and bounded retries.
Discord is a supplementary notification and audit destination. The plugin's local persistent records remain the primary source of player history and evidence.
Security: Never publish webhook URLs, credentials, or private server configuration in the repository.
LuckPerms Support
LuckPerms is optional. When Heaven Eyes defines and enforces its own permission nodes, LuckPerms can be used to grant those permissions to individual players or staff groups.
LuckPerms manages access; it does not perform anti-cheat detection or independently issue Heaven Eyes punishments.
Requirements
- A compatible Paper Minecraft server.
- The Java runtime required by the selected server build.
- Discord webhook URL only if Discord notifications are enabled.
- LuckPerms only if advanced permission management is desired.
Installation
- Download the compiled Heaven Eyes JAR.
- Place it in the server's plugins directory.
- Start the server and inspect the console for errors.
- Configure the generated Heaven Eyes configuration files.
- Optionally configure Discord webhooks and LuckPerms permissions.
- Restart the server if required and test the features before enabling automatic punishments on a production server.
