GhostAC

Hybrid simulation anticheat for modern Minecraft servers. Java and Bedrock, with GrimAC support.

GhostAC (formerly NovaAC) runs on its own with its full movement engine, or alongside GrimAC, which it detects automatically.

Every check is configurable. Movement checks run in standalone mode and are handed to GrimAC when it is installed.

Requirements

• Java 21+ and Minecraft 1.21+
• Spigot, Paper, Folia or a compatible fork
• PacketEvents 2.7.0+ (required)
• Optional: GrimAC, Geyser and Floodgate, ViaVersion, ProtocolLib, AdvancedBan

Installation

1. Put GhostAC and PacketEvents in your plugins folder
2. Optional: install GrimAC for companion mode
3. Restart the server

GrimAC companion mode can be turned off with runtime.automatic-with-grim in config.yml, or by choosing a runtime mode manually in the GUI.

Updating from NovaAC: your data folder is migrated automatically. The main command is now /ghost and permissions are ghostac.admin, ghostac.alerts, ghostac.bypass.

Privacy

Detection data stays local. Update checks contact SpigotMC, Discord webhooks are opt in, and anonymous bStats metrics can be disabled in plugins/bStats/config.yml.
