An entire economic system built around emeralds as a currency. Instead of limiting the use of emeralds with villagers, EcoGen takes it a giant leap forward to implement a robust economy. Send and receive emeralds to and from other players, withdraw and deposit into a virtual or physical bank, and even create shops using a chest and sign to buy or sell items in exchange for emeralds.
