How to install

This plugin is very easy to install simply drag and drop it into your plugins folder.

How to use

Just use the command /dual request <playername> to request to dual that player then the other player just needs to use the command /dual accept <yourname> and you will both be able to hit each other.

How does it work

Here is a scenario where two players (A and B) want to fight each other:

A types in the command /dual request B

B will then receive a message saying [Accept] [Decline]

B can then click accept in the chat and they will have the command /dual accept A into there chat text box and then send that command

Both A and B can now damage each other and when one of them ties the dual will be over.

Why should you use it

The dual plugin is for servers that are on the fence about enabling or disabling PvP on the server this plugin is your middle ground. With this plugin you can have both players who never PvP and those who love to PvP. Each player will always be able to choose if they want to Vs other players on your server. While there are plugins out there that allow players to choose if they want PvP on this plugin allows your players to not only choose if they want to PvP but who they want to. If two players want to dual each other without the threat of a man in diamond armour running in to kill them this is what you need.

Commands

/dual request <playername> : Sends a dual request to the player.

/dual accept <playername> : Accepts and starts a dual with a player who has requested to dual you

/dual decline <playername> : This command is not necessary because requests end after 1 minute but if someone is spamming you with requests this will politely tell them that you are not interested in duelling them

Permissions and Configuration

In this version of dual there are no permissions or configuration everyone on the server can dual each other and ops don't have any different commands.

How to use this plugin for dummies

• Download the plugin
• Drag and drop or copy and paste the file downloaded (Dual.jar) into the plugins folder on your server
• Start your server
• When you are in the server with more than one player type the command (by pressing t) /dual request <PlayerName> and instead of <PlayerName> put the name of the player you want to dual (This can be found by pressing and holding tab) and then run the command (press enter)
• The other player will then get text at the bottom left corner
• The other player can they press t to open chat and move there mouse over this text at the bottom left corner and click the text that says [Accept] and hit the button that says enter
• You both of those players are now able to damage each other
• Once one of the players dies the dual will be over and the players won't be able to damage each other anymore
