Overview
DeathTimedBan is an updated version of the plugin http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/deathban/. This plugin does what it says. If a player dies by any event (mobs,players,fall damage etc..) they are banned for the amount of time you set it too! There are a few steps to using this plugin successfully!
Installation
Step One:
Drop the plugin into your directory/plugins folder!
Step Two:
Reload/Restart your server to load the new plugin!
Step Three:
Join your server! As you can see the plugin is loaded!
Go back into your plugins directory, find the folder and edit the config.yml. You will see this:
Make sure to change the false to true! Amount of time should follow the Essentials Ban format i.e (1hour = 1 hour, 10m = 10mins, 15s = 15secs) After you edit it to your liking just reload/restart. Now type "/deathban" (Note: you will need OP or the permission node "deathban.toggle")
Now, not literally..... but..... kill yourself. Jump off of a high place of jump in lava... whatever floats your boat.
Then you should see.....
