What's New in v1.4.0
- Agentic Surroundings Scans: Players can ask Crafty in chat to scan surroundings. Crafty scans nearby blocks, mobs, caves, and terrain, then replies in natural chat with a conversational summary of what was found nearby.
- 500,000 Free Daily Tokens: The free tier quota has been increased tenfold from 50,000 to 500,000 tokens/day. Server startup handshakes are also decoupled from chat limits, so servers never get locked out on restart.
- Minecraft 26.3 Ready: Full compatibility with modern server environments from Minecraft 1.8 up through 26.3.
- Verified Game Actions: Actions verify actual server execution results before taking subsequent steps.
- Survival Operator Permissions: Survival mode operators have their OP permissions recognized properly without requiring creative mode.
- Automatic Key Provisioning: On first launch, the plugin automatically provisions and saves a free API key to
plugins/CraftyAI/config.yml with zero manual setup.

Server Helper & Game Actions
Authorized players and server operators can ask Crafty to perform in-game actions:
- Control time and weather
- Heal and feed players
- Locate structures and biomes
- Change gamemodes
- Execute whitelisted administrative commands
Safety & Permission Controls
- Sensitive commands require explicit player confirmation before execution.
- Granular permissions via LuckPerms or standard Bukkit permissions (
crafty.chat, crafty.admin, crafty.use).
- Non-operator players cannot trigger administrative commands.
Bedrock & Crossplay Support
CraftyAI fully supports Bedrock Edition players joining through GeyserMC and Floodgate, including prefixed gamertags up to 36 characters long.

Quick Installation (Paper / Spigot / Purpur / Folia)
- Download craftyai-spigot-1.4.0.jar from the Files tab.
- Place the jar in your server's
plugins/ directory.
- Start or restart your server. Crafty will automatically provision a free API key on first launch.
- Type in chat to start talking with Crafty!

- Generative AI Processing: CraftyAI uses external cloud AI infrastructure developed by DemonZ Development to generate natural language replies, interpret player requests, and process surroundings scan observations.
- Secure HTTPS Connections: Plugins communicate securely over HTTPS with our edge infrastructure (
https://craftydb.demonz.org / Cloudflare Workers). We never sell or share player chat logs with third-party advertisers.
- BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): Server administrators who prefer complete data isolation can supply their own API keys in
plugins/CraftyAI/config.yml.
- Telemetry: Anonymous heartbeat pings monitor edge stability. Telemetry can be toggled off at any time by setting
enable_metrics: false in config.yml.
