Cortador Universal 1.0.0

Cortador Universal is a plugin originally created by GUI TUBER to expand the possibilities of Minecraft's Stonecutter.

Version 1.0.0 is the first official release of the project.

The main purpose of the plugin is to transform the Stonecutter into a much more complete crafting station, allowing players to cut and transform several different types of materials in a simple and organized way.

Cortador Universal expands the normal functionality of the Minecraft Stonecutter.

The plugin keeps the original Minecraft recipes while adding new transformation options for several different categories of materials.

Universal Stonecutter

The Stonecutter can now work with several materials beyond the traditional Minecraft recipes.

  • Original Minecraft recipes are preserved

  • New compatible transformations are added

  • Recipes are organized according to the material used

  • Different materials may provide different transformation options

Wood

The plugin supports several different wood families.

Supported wood types:

  • Oak

  • Spruce

  • Birch

  • Jungle

  • Acacia

  • Dark Oak

  • Mangrove

  • Cherry

  • Pale Oak

  • Crimson

  • Warped

  • Bamboo

Depending on the type of wood, Cortador Universal may provide different transformation options.

Possible transformations include:

All 16 wool colors are supported.

By default:

  • 1 Wool Block = 2 Carpets

The amount produced can be changed through the plugin configuration.

Cortador Universal also allows the Stonecutter to work with glass.

Supported glass types:

Iron and Gold

Cortador Universal also adds transformations involving metals.

Iron:

  • Iron Bars

  • Iron Doors

  • Iron Trapdoors

  • Chains

  • Pressure Plates

Gold:

  • Light Weighted Pressure Plates

The quantities produced can be configured by the server administrator.

Copper System

Copper has its own dedicated system inside Cortador Universal.

The plugin recognizes the different oxidation and waxing states of copper.

Supported copper states:

  • Normal Copper

  • Exposed Copper

  • Weathered Copper

  • Oxidized Copper

  • Waxed Copper

  • Waxed Exposed Copper

  • Waxed Weathered Copper

  • Waxed Oxidized Copper

Several construction variations made from copper are also recognized.

Supported variations include:

  • Cut Copper

  • Chiseled Copper

  • Slabs

  • Stairs

  • Doors

  • Trapdoors

  • Bars

  • Chains

  • Lightning Rods

  • Other compatible variations

The system is only used for transformations that are appropriate for Cortador Universal.

Inappropriate recipes are not added.

For example:

  • Copper Golems cannot be created through the Stonecutter

Smart Recipe System

Cortador Universal includes protection against duplicate recipes.

Before registering certain custom recipes, the plugin checks whether compatible recipes already exist.

This helps prevent the same transformation option from appearing more than once inside the Stonecutter.

The system can also synchronize registered recipes with players who are currently connected to the server.

Compatibility

If a specific Minecraft version does not contain a material used by the plugin, Cortador Universal can safely ignore that material without preventing the remaining recipes from working.

This improves compatibility between different Minecraft server versions.

Configuration

The plugin includes its own configuration file.

Location:

The configuration allows server administrators to control several plugin features.

Available options include:

  • Enable or disable wood recipes

  • Enable or disable wool recipes

  • Enable or disable glass recipes

  • Enable or disable stone recipes

  • Enable or disable metal recipes

  • Enable or disable copper recipes

  • Change specific output quantities

  • Preserve existing recipes

  • Synchronize recipes with connected players

Official authorship and creator information cannot be changed through the configuration file.

Displays the currently installed plugin version and checks whether a newer version is available for download.

The command can also be used without the accent:

Update System

────────────────────────────

Cortador Universal includes its own version-checking system.

Version checks may occur:

  • When the server starts

  • At safe intervals while the server is running

  • When someone uses /cortador versão

The version check is performed asynchronously to prevent freezes, delays, or unnecessary load on the server's main thread.

The system only checks whether a newer version of the plugin exists.

The plugin does not automatically install updates.

Even if a newer version is available, the currently installed version will continue working normally.

Update Notifications

Automatic update notifications are not sent to every player on the server.

Update notifications may be received by:

  • Server Console

  • OP Players

  • Players with the permission cortador.update.notify

Regular players will not automatically receive these messages.
