What's new

Supported Versions

  • Plugin: 1.2.0 — coreviz-1.2.0.jar
  • Minecraft: 26.1 – 26.3 (26.1 Apr 2026 / 26.2 / 26.3 Wilderness Bound 2026-09-15) — one jar for all
  • Server: Paper 26.1+ ([26.1.build,), api-version: '26.1') — also Purpur & forks tracking Paper API 26.1+. Not 1.21.x (Paper's version break). No Fabric/Forge.
  • Java: 25+ (build + runtime, <release>25</release>)
  • CoreProtect: 24.0+ required (typed API v12)

What's New in 1.2.0

All changes below are on top of the previous 1.x line.

1. X-Ray Check — /cpv check u:<player> a:mining (NEW)

Multi-heuristic mining analysis to flag suspicious x-ray, split by world:

  • Overworld + Nether via restrict_blocks — overworld: diamond, emerald, iron, gold, redstone (+ deepslate variants; coal/copper/lapis excluded), nether: ANCIENT_DEBRIS only. Both lists configurable (xray-overworld-blocks, xray-nether-blocks in config.yml).
  • Time control — t: optional (t:24h, t:7d), defaults to 7 days (xray-default-lookback-hours: 168), capped at 30 days (xray-max-lookback-hours: 720). Safety cap xray-max-lookup-rows: 5000 per world.
  • Heuristics scored NONE / LOW / MEDIUM / SUSPICIOUS with reasons:
    • Axis jumps — ΔY > 5 or horizontal > 30 between diamonds; jump ratio > 0.6 (≥8 diamonds) flags teleporting between veins
    • Stone ratio (Sentinel-style) — baseline from STONE, DEEPSLATE, TUFF, NETHERRACK, BASALT, BLACKSTONE; tiers: pure-ore (≤20 stone + ≥5 diamonds), low-stone (≤50 + ≥10), high-ratio (>0.12 on ≥100 stone), medium (>0.06)
    • Velocity / burst (MineAlert-style) — 5 diamonds in 10 min / 12 in 60 min, diamonds/hour (>8 high, >4 medium) + nether rate
  • GUI + chat — paginated GUI with highlights/teleport per location; /cpv see re-opens last check (per-checker). Clickable chat notification. Permission cpviz.check (default op).

Examples:

/cpv check u:Notch a:mining
/cpv check u:Notch a:mining t:24h
/cpv see

2. Re-open Last Results with /cviz (NEW)

Bare /cviz now re-opens last cached results instead of resetting to the player picker. Close to inspect in-world highlights, then /cviz to jump straight back without re-querying. Adds /cviz reopen / last / resume and /cviz new / open subcommands, a clock button ("Reopen last results") in the player picker when cached, and a compass ("New lookup") in results.

3. Highlights — Removed Blocks Show Actual Type

Removed/broken highlights now show the original block (0.92× centered) inside a glowing red stained-glass shell (1.002×) instead of a solid red cube. Non-block materials still fall back to red glass. Placed blocks stay green glass. /cpviz clear removes both entities.

4. Compatibility — Paper 26.1+ Forward-Compatible Jar

Same jar loads on 26.1 / 26.2 / 26.3 (paper-api [26.1.build,), api-version: '26.1'). No config migration needed — new xray-* keys auto-append with sensible defaults.

Installation

  1. Download coreviz-1.2.0.jar from Modrinth or CurseForge
  2. Drop into plugins/ alongside CoreProtect.jar on Paper 26.1+ with Java 25+
  3. Restart, join on matching client, run /cpviz

Commands & Permissions

/cpviz [player] # menu GUI (bare /cviz re-opens last)
/cpviz u:<player> t:<time> r:<radius> a:<block|container|session> b:<item> # typed lookup
/cpv check u:<player> a:mining [t:<time>] # x-ray check
/cpv see # re-open last check
/cpviz clear # clear highlights
Aliases: /cpv, /coreviz, /cviz
  • cpviz.use (op) — use GUI & highlights
  • cpviz.teleport (op) — Teleport button in results
  • cpviz.check (op) — /cpv check & /cpv see

Typed flags: u:/user: player, t:/time: (1h, 2d12h, omit = all time), r:/radius: number or #global, a:/action: block/container/session/mining (with +/-), b:/block:/item: one Material, h: highlight.

See README for Aggregation rule (aggregation-window-seconds default 3600s = 1h bucket) and all xray-* tuning.

Notes

  • Paper 26.1+ and Java 25 are mandatory — older Paper / Java 21/17 will fail to load.
  • Requires repo.papermc.io + maven.playpro.com only at build time.
