Conway's Machine

Description

Conway's Machine is a plugin that allows players to create their very only Conway's Game of Life simulators. Once created, these machines will accurately simulate the Game of Life within their borders, and may be paused in order to create patterns before resuming and watching them simulate.

Creation

Any player with the proper permissions will be able to create a machine. To create a Conway's Machine the player must type the command, /conway <name>, name being the name of the machine. The plugin with then guide the player along the creation of the machine, prompting them to punch blocks indicating the bounds and on/off switch of their machine. When the player flips the switch, the machine will create the board and it is ready for use.

A Conway's Machine must be a 2D area, and should be a floor or wall with opposite corners haven been chosen by the user.

Permissions

'conway.create' - Required to create a Conway Machine.

Future Features

Speed buttons to increase/decrease generation lifetime.

Known Bugs

Conway Machines created that are 3d volumes and not 2d volumes will not work but will give no error message to the user.
Machines do not automatically restart after server reload/restart.

Final Notes

This plugin is still very early in development and is more of a fun project than something serious, I am releasing it so others can hopefully have fun with it and give me suggestions on features I can add.
