ControlPanel-1.16.1.jar
What's new
ControlPanel 1.16.1 fixes the most-reported annoyance with the addon: editing controlPanelTemplate.yml and running bbox reload did nothing. Panels live in BentoBox's database and the template was only ever a one-time seed, so template edits were silently ignored unless you ran the confirmation-gated cp import command. Reload now re-imports the template, and the template file name is configurable.
This release also drops the minimum BentoBox version from 3.10.0 back to 2.7.1. 1.16.0 shipped with an api-version of 3.10.0 even though nothing in the code needed it, which made BentoBox refuse to load the addon (INCOMPATIBLE) on servers that can't run BentoBox 3.10+ — notably Minecraft 1.21.4 servers, which top out at BentoBox 3.7.4. Those servers can now use the current ControlPanel again.
-
bbox reloadnow wipes each active game mode's stored panels and re-imports them from the template file, so template edits take effect withoutcp import. - Because the reload wipes first, panels you removed from the template also disappear instead of lingering in the database.
- New
template-fileoption inconfig.yml(defaultcontrolPanelTemplate.yml). Reload, importControlPanelsand the adminimportcommand all honour it, so you can point the addon at your own file.
-
addon.ymlapi-versionis now2.7.1(was3.10.0). The addon is still built against BentoBox 3.10.0 / Paper 1.21.11, but it uses no API newer than 2.7.1. - Verified against BentoBox 3.7.4 and 3.8.1 on Paper 1.21.4: no missing classes, methods or fields.
- Updated Traditional Chinese (
zh-TW.yml) translations, thanks to @qwe664 (#43).
- CurseForge and Hangar publishing now run from GitHub Actions on release, using the jar attached to the release (#38, #39, #40, #42).
✔️ BentoBox 2.7.1 or later (verified with 3.7.4 on Minecraft 1.21.4) ✔️ Minecraft 1.21.4 – 26.2 ✔️ Java 21
🔺 Reload now overwrites stored panels. The panels in the database are replaced by the template on every bbox reload. If you have been relying on database-only panel changes (anything not in controlPanelTemplate.yml), put them in the template before updating or they will be lost on the next reload.
⚙️ New config key. template-file is added to config.yml with the default controlPanelTemplate.yml; existing installs keep working with no changes.
