Coffers
A standalone-first economy plugin for Minecraft
Coffers is a modern, from-scratch economy platform built for Minecraft servers that want a cleaner future than older economy setups.
It is designed to work as a full economy plugin on its own, while still supporting Vault as an optional compatibility layer for older plugins that still require it.
📦 Which version should you use?
Use Coffers-Legacy.jar if:
- your server is in the Minecraft 1.16.x to 1.17.x range
- you are running older Bukkit, CraftBukkit, Spigot, or Paper-style setups
- you want the legacy Coffers line for older server environments
Use Coffers.jar if:
- your server is running newer Minecraft versions
- you are running a modern Paper setup
- your server is in a more current modern environment such as 1.20+
✨ What Coffers offers
- 💰 Standalone-first economy support
- 🔌 Optional Vault compatibility
- 💾 YAML, SQLite, and MySQL storage
- 🪙 Configurable currencies and formatting rules
- 📜 Transaction history and audit metadata
- 🔄 Vault migration helpers
- 🧩 Developer-focused integration support
- 🏛 Separate legacy support for older server environments
🚀 Why use Coffers?
Coffers is built for two kinds of server owners:
- those who want to move away from Vault and run a cleaner standalone economy setup
- those who still need Vault for compatibility with older plugins during a transition period
That means Coffers can work as your main economy plugin now, while still helping you migrate away from older setups over time.

❤️ Built for the future
Coffers is meant to give server owners and developers a stronger long-term foundation for economy systems, without forcing them to stay locked into older plugin standards forever.
