Sometimes you want to tell everyone on the server something... fear not! By using a global chat message, that you can trigger by starting the message with the global chat message prefix, every player on the server will receive your message.
Join and leave messages are configurable in the configuration, perhaps you want them to have a different text or different colour, maybe broadcast them locally or globally?
You can whisper to decrease the chat range of your message by surrounding your message in parenthesises or starting it with your own defined whispering symbol - or both! Fully configurable in the config.
You can shout by to increase your chat range, and depending on the level - lose hunger at the cost of range, by adding exclamations marks to your message.
Death Messages are configurable and you can choose to show them locally or globally.
The plugin supports colour and formatting codes. Anyone with the permission (you can find all permissions in the configuration file of the plugin as well as a list of all codes) is able to use them!
Description
ChatDistance, a plugin that lets you configure the chat to your liking. Players that are near you will receive clear and readable chat messages, however the further away you go the more obscure the messages will be until you can no longer see them. Whispering and shouting affects your chat range and everything is configurable in the configuration file of the plugin.
