Chained together

Avoid your friends going too far away.

A simple plugin to prevent your friends from wandering too far away. It only damages the player who separates from the group. Includes audiovisual warnings and a guide to help players return to their teammates.

Features (on config.yml)

  • Adjust the maximum allowed distance.
  • Adjust the damage dealt by the plugin.
  • Adjust the regroup countdown.
  • Adjust the countdown required to be in the same dimension.
  • Show or hide timer.
  • Show or hide death counter.

Commands

  • ptimer (stop | continue) — Stops or resumes the player distance timer.
  • dtimer (stop | continue) — Stops or resumes the dimension timer.
  • lenguage(en | es) — Changes UI lenguage beetwen English and Spanish.
  • death resets — Resets the death count. 
  • timer reset — Resets the game timer.
  • timer set HH:MM:SS — Set the game timer to HH:MM:SS.

About this plugin

I created this plugin to play with my friends in a vanilla‑friendly hardcore experience. In our runs, if one player dies, the world resets — and there is always someone who tries to speedrun alone and dies far away. This plugin solves that problem by forcing everyone to stay together.

There is also an optional playtime mode (activated by default) that adds a timer measuring the time since the last death. If you want to play this style of hardcore, I recommend the Fahare plugin.
