Summary

This plugin defines one command: /suicide. It kills the person who types the command.

FAQ

• Question: But the /kill command already exists and does the same thing?!
• Answer: Some plugins — like KillBox — hijack the /kill command, making it difficult for unpermissioned players to kill themselves. This plugin works around that by using a different command name.
• Question: Essentials already has /suicide?!
• Answer: If you're using Essentials, then you probably don't need CBSuicide. Many admins do not use Essentials because it is too big and too complex.

Plans for the Future

This plugin may eventually define other unique commands that allow players to kill themselves in creative ways (slow death by poison?). It will never add commands that affect other players or the environment.

Source Code

Since this plugin is so small and simple, I have simply bundled the source code inside the plugin's jar, CBSuicide.jar. Eventually I will put the source code in a repository so people can find it and clone it more easily.

Permissions

By default, everyone should have access to the /suicide command without any special configuration. If you would like to restrict access to the command, there is one permission: cbsuicide.suicide.
