The first release of BetterWeather allows the user to increase the appearance of Rain and Thunderstorms. Furthermore, it allows the user to customize how likely each event is to appear and how long they last.
The minWeatherDuration and maxWeatherDuration parameters in the config file are measured in game-ticks. The defaults are set to 6000 (300 seconds) and 24000 (1200 seconds) respectively. The actual length of each weather event will be randomly chosen from somewhere between these numbers.
After an event happens, its probability will be set to the default[x]WeatherProbability. Everytime a weather type is chosen, the probability of the other weather events will increase in accordance with its corresponding changeProbability[x]Weather-parameter in the config file.
This mod has no additional files
