Barkeeper

Description

Barkeeper is a plugin which allows you to display colored and animated messages at the center or the bottom of your screen in minecraft.
You can configure automatic broadcast messages which will be displayed every X minutes or let a Level-Up-Congratulation appear in the center of the screen.

It is possible to give each player a personal login or welcome message.

Commands

• /display bottom [speed] [world] <message>
  Will display your message (colored with '&') in the bottom bar.
  You can set speed to something between 1 and 20 to animate your message.
• /display center [time] [world] <message> [sub-message]
  Will display your message (colored with '&') in the middle of the screen.
  If you define a sub-message it will be displayed in small letters below the main message.
• /display chat [world] <message>
  Will display your message (colored with '&') in the chat.

Config

You can define certain types of messages:

• login
  This message will be displayed to all players when a player joins.
  Best position: BOTTOM
• level-up
  This message will be displayed to a player, who just reached the next level.
  Best position: CENTER
• welcome-message
  This message will be displayed to a player, who joins the first time.
  Best positon: CENTER
• first-join
  This message will be displayed to all players, if a player joins the first time.
  Best position: BOTTOM
• broadcast
  The message will be displayed e.g. every 10 minutes to all players.
  Best position: BOTTOM

You can decide in which worlds, players will receive your messages by adding or removing them to the worlds list in the config.

By adding personal-messages, you can give special persons special messages, e.g. your admins should be announced different than usual players.
